Recruitment Screening Under the AI Act
AI that screens CVs or ranks candidates is high-risk under the AI Act, and duties fall on the employer as well as the vendor.
How we approach it
Inventory the AI in the hiring process, including features inside the applicant tracking system. Check vendors' documentation and bias testing, put a person in charge of every rejection the AI influences, keep logs, and inform candidates and workers' representatives. High-risk duties apply from 2 December 2027; GDPR rules on automated decisions apply now.
