Workplace Analytics Within the Prohibitions
Some tools sold for call-centre quality or video interviews infer emotions, which the AI Act has banned in the workplace since February 2025.
How we approach it
Review every monitoring, quality and interview tool for emotion recognition and other prohibited features, and switch them off or replace the tool. For what remains, such as productivity or quality analytics, run a DPIA, consult workers' representatives where required, and keep analytics at team level where possible.
